Planned functionality of VHCP 1.0

The following functionality is planned to be supported in the next stable release. The release is aimed to make VHCP even more flexible.

Versioning Schema

This is the current versioning layout of VHCP

• 0.0.x - Development / Fork of VHCS2
• 0.1   - First Release [a.k.a lynx]
• 0.1.x - Future releases for bug fixes
• 1.0   - Next release of VHCP [a.k.a. bengal]
• 1.0.x - Future releases for bug fixes
• 1.1.x - Future development version

Backend Functionality

Courier

•  Integrate Courier directly into MySQL database so that the user flat database file doesn't have to be created. Eliminate the need for "/etc/courier/userdb" file.
  

Apache

• Automatically rotate log files
  

Auto Reply

• Add functionality to track email addresses to eliminate a possible mail loop. Only send one reply per address, until reset.
